To Whom It May Concern, (See update at end)
I am writing to formally express my outrage regarding the abysmal experience I had during my stay at your property from May 15–18. Despite your claims of being under new ownership, the conditions I endured were unacceptable, and your repeated failures to follow through on promises only add insult to injury.
Upon arrival late on May 15, I spent nearly two hours making phone calls to get into my cabin, as the provided code didn’t work. Finally, someone arrived at 1 a.m. to unlock the door. What greeted me was a nightmare: dead bees everywhere, no blinds or shades on the windows, and an unclean comforter that clearly hadn’t been washed in ages.
I was told the cabin would have a full-size fridge and freezer, yet there was only a tiny mini-fridge that could barely hold anything. Your listing also promised working Wi-Fi and TV, but neither worked the entire time I was there, despite a staff member spending nearly an hour trying to fix it.
The conditions didn’t stop there. The fan made a noise like a jet engine, keeping me awake. I had to hang up sheets for privacy and to block the early morning sun because no shades were provided. The lazy river was closed for my entire stay due to mud, and two wakeboarding sessions I paid for were canceled due to weather, with promises of reimbursement that have still not been fulfilled.
Your staff and management were indifferent at best. When I spoke with your manager, he made endless excuses about being under new ownership and offered no meaningful solutions. The general attitude of the staff was dismissive and apathetic, despite the property being practically empty during my stay.
Your prices are absurdly inflated for the poor quality of your accommodations and services. Charging $175 a night for a cabin in such a state is highway robbery, and $4 for a can of beer is an insult to your guests.
This was supposed to be a getaway to enjoy wakeboarding and relaxation, yet it turned into a frustrating ordeal with empty promises and substandard conditions. Waco, Texas, and your establishment, in particular, have proven to be a complete joke.
I demand reimbursement for the two canceled wakeboarding sessions as promised and a partial refund for my stay due to the numerous issues I endured. If this matter is not addressed promptly, I will escalate my complaint through reviews on every major platform and consumer protection agencies.

It was a blast!!! Been on the bucket list for awhile and we finally made it out. Next time we’ll bring chairs, a canopy, and a better packed cooler so we can spend the entire day at the “beach” by the slides. The lazy river was a hit with all of us.
Only complaint would be the lack of guidance from the front desk. When we checked in(bought tickets online) they just gave us our wristbands and went back to chatting with other employees. So we just wondered off and looked for what we thought would be the start of the lazy river and luckily guessed correctly.

Went here on a spur of a whim. Had a friend recommended it. Definitely enjoyed it! From the beginning at the desk my phone wouldn’t let me access the QR code. The lady at the desk let me use hers to sign the waiver and then they rang me up and gave me directions to the lazy river! All the staff and customers and others there super nice and very respectful and full of smiles!! Will be back soon and thank you for making this place a place I will definitely be visiting soon!!!

A true surf ranch in the middle of Texas. This was our first visit so we decided to try a beginner session. The waves were very predictable and both, my son and I could quickly progress. Overall, I think this spot is an excellent choice not only to learn surfing, but also to improve your skills with relative ease. Although I am more a long board guy, I cannot wait to go back and try some different boards that they have for rent there.

Cheapest family fun I've found, we came from 3 hours away! Kids were free so we got a refund on our family pack. Downside no lockers for personal belongings but plenty food and nice staff. Will return!

First timer here and we will definitely be back. As soon as we entered the park, everyone was so kind and helpful. Other guests have common courtesy and it's not overly crowded. The burgers are delicious and the park itself is clean.

This place is very fun! Me, my husband, and my kids had such a great time. The only thing is is that we had such a long wait time. However, there was a nice young man named Brian that made the experience very pleasant. He was very reassuring and helped us get our tickets, as well as getting through smoothly. We will definitely be visiting as a family again soon!

"Priority surf credit" is a joke. If they cancel your surf session, they try to squeeze you in whenever they feel like it. We were booked for 4pm today, they tried to reschedule our surf session for 6pm tomorrow night. We live 6 hours away and are visiting for the weekend. They cancelled for lightning within 10 miles. The weather was perfectly fine. Not a drop of rain of lightning to be seen. They restarted the surf session at 5pm today. There's zero reason why my husband couldn't surf at 5pm given the "priority" surf session he was supposed to receive. Watwr in the surf area was positively dirty and disgusting. They charge and INSANE amount for board rentals it came out to over $75 for the hour rental. Never coming back here. Wouldn't recommend to anyone wasting their time or money coming from out of town. They only care about making a buck and not customer service. Haven't received a single refund for any of the charges they made to our card for goods and service that weren't rendered.

If you're thinking about taking surfing lessons, you will discover that you absolutely have to have a reservation. From what I understand, they are open until Christmas Eve, and the crowd dies off after August. When the weather is hot, so is the water; stay hydrated!
The water slides are more than you would expect. I went off the second highest one and completely wiped out. The second highest one actually launches you the farthest in the air. The highest one launches you the longest distance. I have been sore for almost a week!
There is nothing that's really middle of the road activity wise. It's either the pool and lazy river or learning to surf, wakeboarding, and going down slides.
I'm not a lazy river guy, but those who are tell me it is fantastic and very long. You will have to get out to get a beverage

Came here with a buddy last week, and we had a blast. We went to the six flags water park in Ft Worth this week, and the stark difference really made me appreciate Waco Surf. The Waco Surf Attendants/life guards are way more attentive and competent. The staff are friendlier and more helpful. The facilities are nicer. While there are fewer slides, they're way (like, not even close) more fun, and for me, a much much better deal. We got a cabin, which makes everything that much more affordable, which is so nice. I cannot recommend Waco Surf enough, and I highly recommend staying at the cabins/hotel if you're not local, you won't regret it!

Surf Academy was a pretty good lesson and the facilities are great and staff friendly. I only got 6 attempts out of my beginner session (there were 15 of us out there) and I missed the wave on three of them so I really only got three good attempts but even if you count all 6 waves that’s about $23 per wave. If you’re advanced or intermediate it’s probably a better deal but I’d recommend going to the ocean if you’re a beginner like me.

1 star at best. My wife and I went on 6/26/24 and we're extremely disappointed. The most disrespectful girl at the swim up bar had a terrible attitude when my wife ordered a drink. Within about 5 minutes a security guard and a very rude lifeguard came over to ask us to not "motorboat" my wife had been waiting to get a drink from a female child and all of a sudden we are asked not to do something we weren't doing. If you go please be cautious of the staff as it's hot and they don't like the job they applied for. It was extremely disrespectful and I plan on making sure it's known. This was our second time and LAST for sure. Don't waste your money!

The park is awesome and the cabins are cute but ours was filthy. The ceiling fans are full of tons of cobwebs looks like none of the fixtures have been cleaned ever. The shower drain cap was full of hair it was nasty and the bathroom floor was filthy as well, the middle table in the living room had at least 10 dead flies on it gross. Come on clean your cabins we pay enough to use them and they would be worth the price if they were clean but not as filthy as ours was.

I've surfed all over the world and this was a great experience. Brought our kids, got in a session, and then fun in the water and sand with them. We'll definitely return and stay the night next time

We brought the whole family from toddlers to grandparents and everyone had a wonderful day!
We reserved a beachside cabana and purchased dual entrance to the water park! I would definitely recommend doing the same if you’re entertaining a lot of ages and personality types.
We went on Memorial Day weekend. It was busy, but not over crowded.
The wedge/slide side gives the high energy of a busy lake side party.
The beach side is very relaxed, quiet, and chill.
It was nice to be able to enjoy both.

*I wish the website was a little more user friendly and disclosed information in a more accessible way.
-You can not surf on the beach side without a reservation. You can not swim in the area where people are surfing.
The water access is limited on the beach side, which was perfect for our younger children and older grandparents.
The teens much preferred the wedge/waterpark side. This could be better explained before booking.
Although, Iit is great fun to watch the surfers.
-Children under 6 are free. Also not easy to determine while booking.

I attended a beginner session today and was blown away by the surf ops crew! Reef was great and you can tell he really cares about that place and wants guests to have a great time. I also had great service from Maddie in the Saloon for our drinks and lunch! I recommend the salad and add chicken tenders!

Absolutely love this place! My husband and I came here from San Diego and it was such a great experience. Friendly staff, great food and drinks and the lazy river was awesome. Will definitely be back!

We signed our kids up for a weekday mid-afternoon beginners surfing session. It had been a couple of years since they last rode any waves so it took them a couple of sets to get the feel of things. We were a little disappointed that our son ended up only getting to try 6 waves and our daughter got 7, with lots of waiting "in line" in between. This was our first time at a facility vs the ocean, so maybe that is pretty normal. The facilities were nice, very clean, and embraced the surfer theme well. Unfortunately a few beach chairs were damaged and so we had to drag chairs around to let our group sit together. Thankfully the beach wasn't very busy and there were plenty of chairs available for us to pick from.

My family stayed here for one night and my kids and I attended a beginner session while staying at WacoSurf this spring. The facility is amazing and the instructors were the best we have had surfing anywhere. They were informative, helpful and extremely supportive. We surfed at noon and had stayed the night. It was thoroughly enjoyable to watch some of the advanced and professional surfers in their early morning sessions. The rooms with the view of the surf pool were great and the breakfast food truck for breakfast tacos were lights out. We really hope we get a chance to go back and try out more of the facility during the summer months. Highly recommend if you are touring through Texas.

Best surf I've ever had in Texas. Staying on site was worth it. We were able to pick up a couple extra sessions. The rental quiver is great with a full range of options for their waves. When staying the night it's pretty quiet around there. Enjoy.

Overall a pretty good experience for surfing. Loved coming here in the low season. Felt super chill for surfing, and liked having the hot tub right there, felt necessary with the cold water.
Good food, at reasonable prices. I was nervous about that as there is nothing else nearby. But it worked well. I do wish there were some other food options for breakfast but won’t complain.
Board selection was also decent, and I had been a bit nervous about that too but it worked well.
Only gripes I had is that a first time visitor it would have been great to be given an orientation. First session was a bit chaotic as several first timers like myself took a while to figure out the protocols. But eventually it all worked out. A couple of sessions got very confusing/annoying when they allowed a couple of parents (seemed like the parents weren’t paying as they were not even surfing unless there was a clear opening) to be there with their kids to push the kids into the waves, this kept messing up the flow for a lot of the rest of us there and made things very frustrating at times.
A big gripe I have is the lack of a phone number to reach someone after hours. Was very nervous arriving there late at night and not being able to reach anyone at all if I couldn’t get in my room or need some assistance. A couple of other people I spoke to had the same feeling. I get not conducting most of your business over the phone but at least an emergency line should be provided given the location is a bit removed from everything else.
Would also have loved seeing yoga classes once or twice a day and a masseuse available. And really wished the shop sold some pain conveniences, like tiger balm for using after hours of surfing and sore muscles. But those would just be a bonus I suppose.
This is a terrific place to visit, a few small things as mentioned above would definitely earn it a 5+ star rating. I plan to return for sure to improve my surfing but would love to see a few improvements too for even better experiences in the future.

This park was not a good fit for our family, but there were plenty of people who looked like they were having a great time. We drove an hour and a half and paid far too much for an underwhelming experience. This is definitely a hang out with friends and drink spot, not a water park or theme park. It says it's kid friendly, but it could be better for families. It feels more like an adult water park than a family place. We do wish there were more signs or communication for first timers. We were given our wristbands and were told to have a great time. We got the family pass and only did the lazy river because after watching people go down the slides, none of us wanted to risk a herniated disk. We tried to do surfing, but we weren't sure how to get a surf board or navigate the water as there wasn't really any staff in the area. This was a trip for our sons' birthdays, but it wasn't the trip social media portrayed.

We loved our visit! We bid on a gift certificate at a local charity auction at the Children’s Advocacy Center in Belton and purchased them that way. Huge shout out to Waco Surf for supporting local and children or else we may never have found out about this exciting place!

Love the lazy river, went twice and the wife wanted to go a third. Laid back and not crowded….perfect for introverts like us. Loved the live music and the band was great…the Swimmers or something like that? From Houston…they were awesome. No frills, out of the way, good place to cool off on a hot summer day!

My boyfriend & I visited this location on Saturday for the 1st time w/family & did not have a great experience. It was overpriced, paid an extra $10 for what we thought was a beach area but really just a concrete pool that was about 2 feet deep. We thought it would be fun to go down the slides but came out bruised and injured. The Wedge slide is super dangerous. I hit my side leg and my head going down due to the poor design of this slide. We followed the specific techniques instructed by the signs and staff and still came out injured. The next day I can barely move my head and have a huge bruise on my hip. My boyfriend hurt his back and neck coming down along with many others who also hit their head. After landing in the water we lost our sunglasses and cover up that the staff would not let us retrieve or look for in the water. We had to scan a QR code to report our belongings but was told to call back, I’ve tried calling however the phone number says mailbox full. Who knows if we will ever get our stuff back. Not to mention they have no lockers or any place safe to bring any personal belongings.

Overall, my group of friends had a good visit. This park definitely caters to the young, adventurous types because of the slides and surf. If you just want a place to swim, that's not really available. The lazy river was perfect for myself and my traveling companions.

Even though smoking is not allowed in the lazy River, that didn't stop smokers. I would recommend staff be posted at various posts along the lazy River to enforce the rules.
We traveled from several states away and wish we knew beforehand there are no chairs unless you pay extra for the beach pass. People were bringing pop up gazebos, chairs etc so finding an empty area was difficult. There are also no lockers. You can bring in your own food and drinks, just nothing glass.

I would love to give this place a great review, but I went on the Waco Surf slide and I am fairly injured from the slide impact into the water after doing everything that the guy working the stand said. I'm lucky that the life vest (that they require) was on me, because I am certain I would have been that one person who could have been rescued more than I already was. There are some major safety concerns and I just caution anyone going here - it's really at your own risk. I enjoyed everything else in the water park, but the slides -- too risky.

The cabin description says there’s a bunk bed and a king bed. Perfect for our family of four. However, the top bunk did not have railing to keep you from falling off. As a parent I didn’t want to sleep up there, and neither did my kids. So one had to sleep on the couch. It took over an hour for the tv to work. Otherwise, we had fun at the slides and lazy river. The cabin was a bummer.

Glad we listened to locals saying to go to Waco Surf instead of Hawaiian Falls. Purchased tickets online and skipped the line. Arrived at 11am when they opened and got shaded parking. Parking is free too. Packed a cooler and glad we paid for the cooler tube for the lazy river.
I was impressed on how clean the park was, staff present everywhere, life guards and so much fun!! Good music and drinks.
Teenagers enjoyed the slides and we all had fun watching other guests down the slides.
We paid the nominal extra cost for private beach area where you can watch the surfers.
Totally go to Waco Surf!!

First time visitor there and was very happy with the experience. There are plenty of activities for all members of the family to enjoy. I did the swim up bar walked around in the surf pool did The Lazy River a couple of times. Not super crowded considering it was July 4th. Highly recommend this place if you got kids that want to do the slide or if you want to learn how to surf I watch the Surfers out there and loved it

Definitely recommend this place, very relaxing worth the drive! We brought our ice chest with drinks & food got there early enough to get a good spot. It was not overly packed, the beach area is nice to relax in the adult bar pool. My teens enjoyed the slides & lazy River very relaxing 😎

Update! I was given a refund and the park will be addressing the concern with staff.
We rented a room at the park that was so dirty we didn’t stay. The refrigerator had leftover food from previous guest and the images online are very misleading on the 2nd bed. It truly makes me sick to think we paid almost $300 for a room we couldn’t sleep in. I tried really hard to convince myself the bed sheets had been changed between quest but with the condition of the floors and leftover food being in the room I just couldn’t sleep. We did enjoy the lazy river and found most staff to be very friendly but very little knowledge of the park. The lazy river had 1 lifeguard stationed at about the halfway point. We found ourselves at the top of the slide with a life jacket with no zipper. I really wish I would have looked at the reviews before booking this mini vacation. Also the window shade in the room couldn’t be pulled down without climbing up in the window area to grab ahold of it. The window shade also had bugs all in it.

I wish I had better things to say about this place, but it just wasn’t a good place to stay. The cabin was so dirty, missing so many things, and just not well put together. The park cost extra to get into as well, the park was nice to hang out at don’t get me wrong, but the workers the day we were there didn’t give us the wristbands we were supposed to have so then they just kept questioning us about it..when we did say something about the cabin the manager was very nice about it, got us what he could right then, but also offered us a discount on the cabin which we never got. Also trying to get ahold of anyone while you’re there is hard, they don’t have a phone just an email that they do not respond to.

I had an epic time at Waco Surf. A truly deserved 5 star rating. For someone who lives in Nebraska, finding surf close by isn’t an easy thing. I made it out of my first barrel ever which was a milestone I didn’t know if I would ever reach. Fully stoked 😎🤙!

A few more details: My boys first saw the slides on Dude Perfect some time ago and thought it looked awesome, so I figured it would be a good way for them to spend the day with my husband while my mom and I did a Fixer Upper Tour.
In short, on that first afternoon unexpected weather came in (including lightening) so they had to close the park early. My husband said the manager came around personally to all the parties there and offered a full refund for the day. Needless to say, we found ourselves back there for a second day on our vacation and our boys did the slides again and then two of my three boys (ages 13 and 9) tried the cable park - which they LOVED!
Personally, my husband and I were thoroughly impressed by the staff who were so kind an accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure the boys had a great time. The facility was also clean and we loved that you could bring your own cooler in. Overall, a very family friendly, laid back vibe.
All three of my boys listed our time at Waco Surf Park as the best part of our vacation and they want to go back. So glad we gave it a try, highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area!

Did an inground trampoline for a customer next door to this place. This venue is awesome. I had to stop over and check it out. Very fun family water park. They have massive slides, waves for surfing, great tacos at the taco stand, and a lazy river around the area for an hour long ride! Definitely coming back with family to have a beer and waste the day away in the water 🤙

This place is awesome!! Very family friendly, great staff, very nice facility. We live in Northwest Arkansas, and the 7.5 hour trip was well worth it. I surfed as a teen and 20-something, but school, work, family have kept me living far from the ocean over the past 10+ years. Have maybe had a dozen sessions in that time. Rented a board (great selection) got 2 sessions in. Was so much fun. Can't wait to head back!

We had a unbelievable experience, get there early and set up your tent
You can bring your own food and cooler which is great and save a lot of money
You either can chilled all day on the lazy River or go crazy and keep sliding down the slide
Even better just sit there and watch people make a big splash

Awesome time! I went surfing and had a few expert sessions. The staff is amazing and friendly. The water/pool staff were extremely helpful with tips on how to ride the wave.
We stayed on site and the rooms were a great size and the bedding was very clean and comfortable. The AC was huge as it was around 100 outside.
There are a few food options on site but we could only go to the burger stand near the slides. The smash burgers were awesome!

The place was a lot of fun! GREAT PLACE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE. Need bigger and more obvious directional signage. We visited on Wednesday/Thursday. Housekeeping staff very nice!

My favorite view😍... I work in housekeeping here... the atmosphere is amazing and the people are great! I love watching the action at the slides although it's not something I would try,I've seen some pretty cool stunts coming off the slides... the reputation of this place wasn't the best a few years ago. But the new owners have really strived to make this spot a place to bring the family and have a awesome time!

We only did the slides and lazy river, so that is what I can give a review on. The slides were fun but hurts if you don't land the right way. I'm 45 and did it and now have a big bruise on my leg. Lol The lazy river was long and relaxing. There was cable line surfing which looked fun but didn't book. You need to book surfing far in advance from what we were told. Our cabin we stayed in there was really nice. It was quite and a short walk to activities. One drawback was they closed everything but the beach surfing at 6. We had two teenage boys along that got bored fast. Just not enough to do there.

I was excited to go here and learn to surf in a safe environment, however I choose not to try it because a surf session cannot be guaranteed. I don't understand how you must pay in full for something that is not guaranteed and then not give a refund if there is no space available. Be aware or you could wind up spending hundreds on nothing.

I used to like the expert session a lot. For a man-made wave, it's amazing. There were some management issues for sure - they sold me a package that was supposed to include early booking notifications, and they failed to deliver them most of the time. But I could look past all that for the wave!
But now.. they're charging $129 for a 1-hour expert session?? That's outrageous. And yes, this price hike happened before all the inflation going on. It's literally double the price of similar wave pools in other countries (like the one in Bristol England) - why? Not worth it anymore. They should run more sessions (like at night) if they want to make more money, not hike the price as high as they possibly can.

Definitely not a kid friendly environment. Took my family here yesterday and totally regret it, I should've stayed in Belton and paid for an actual water park. Lazy River looks dirty not clear at all and they let people smoke cigarettes and the two we saw used the river as a ashtray. We asked one of the workers but nothing he can do and told us to point them out but wouldn't be safe because everyone is drinking beer or liquor there. My first time there and my last time there!

We really enjoyed this place! The staff was so friendly, the food was delicious, and the facilities are nice and clean. The kids had a blast on the slides and we loved floating the lazy river. Will definitely be back!

We were pleasantly surprised by this fun spot! The price had us a little concerned it would feel more like a water park but the vibe is VERY chill. If you plan on just going to the slides and lazy river you can bring your own everything: chairs, alcoholic drinks, grills, all of it. (Note: you cannot take alcoholic drinks into the swim/surf area).They supply basic tubes and life jackets. They even have some picnic tables if you get there early and plenty of chairs in the surf/pool area. Our favorite spot had to be the swim up bar though. Perfect view of the surf, decent drinks, lots of sun. We loved it! We would definitely come back!
A few down sides: First there are very few signs, directions, or interactions with staff for first timers. It definitely gives off the vibe that this has been a local gem that is just now really boosting their online presence. We managed to figure it out in the end though. Second the pools/lakes were decently clean but the lazy river was murky. I'm going to chalk this up to run off which is really unavoidable given the property's location. They do have a filtration/sanitation system for the lazy river so it's nothing horrible. But I would suggest keeping your head above water in the lazy river. Third there is plenty of drinking and vaping/smoking. It didn't bother us at all but if you are someone that chooses not to be around those things this park might not be the place for you. Lastly there is no where to lock up any of your stuff. So prepare to bring phone/wallet into the lazy river or put some serious trust your neighbors.

My family and I have been going to BSR Cable Park for years now called Waco surf. Apparently the new owners and management care more about having a cornered Market and Force Waco residents to pay an arm and a leg to get into. We were considering going this Sunday but not any longer. This new ownership is a negative for everyone in the Waco area. This establishment very obviously cares nothing about the community and is very focused on filling their pockets. $40 for the slides and The Lazy River now! That is absurd and I suggest everyone go to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor because it has way more to offer and it's only $25... for the entire park! And based on the pictures that I'm seeing and all the other previous comments I can see there's a lot more issues to this park now then there was before not even mentioning the prices that have skyrocketed. What a shame.

The expert wave is a ton of fun and the staff is really helpful and nice. Cannot wait to return as the water gets warmer. Surfed without a wetsuit the afternoon of April 26 and the water was 75. Pretty good!!

Some of the nicest people I've ever met! Mike(the owner) is amazing and helpful, the overall vibe of the place is super relaxed. Would recommend it to any person who remotely likes water sports.

They do not answer calls/text or emails in a timely fashion when related to weather cancellations. So basically if you have a session booked, and there is weather in the area you can't figure out if they are running unless you drive (in my case) 3 hours each way. And there are no refunds. They need to fix that before I book in advance again. Love the spot, hate losing money and feeling my time is disrespected.

Sadly my last experience wasn't that great. I guess they were closing down for the season and wanted to get everyone out. They were taking the floats for the lazy river starting around noon when they opened. It was weird. They also were running us out of the park right away at 6. Usually they aren't in a rush to get us out of there. I was disappointed. Also they advertised that the lazy river and royal flush slides would be open until Oct 3 and i planned a trip for my while family (my kids and their kids) based on that and then they closed the slides before we got there. It's a great place but not at the end of the season😞

Hate to give a lower review but our last visit here was a total bust. I have been to BSR several times and have always had a blast. It’s been a few years since I’ve been so I was stoked to go back and see all the new improvements and upgrades they’ve done! We went in late September about a week before they closed for the season. I booked a hotel room and the surf resort and spoke with someone about the rules and what not. We drove 3 hours to get there (also brought family who is stationed overseas) and when we get there we learn that the hours posted online are not accurate. We arrived at 11am and nothing would be open for us to use until 3pm and then it would close again at 6pm. Anyone whos been there knows that you can’t do much in 3 hours. Also the slides were closed for the season a week early. That’s a HUGE bummer. I feel like we should have been notified before cancellation deadline that the main attraction was closed early.
The only reason I didn’t give a lower rating was because I know this place can be fun. But it definitely gave off a weird vibe and none of the workers were helpful except for a man in upper management. He was nice and understanding and gave us a refund for the $300 hotel room without question and we really appreciate him.
My biggest advice would be to call often leading up to your reservation to make sure it’ll be open and to double check the hours of operation. Hate to say it but I don’t think we will be back, just not as cool as it used to be.

Website has conflicting hours of the establishment. One section says 12-6, the other sections state 11-7. None of the buildings are properly marked to escort new customers to the right spot. We arrived at 1 because the website states that the lazy river and slide open at 11 or 12, but the employee tells us that it opens at 3?????? So we plan to get back at 4 which will give us 3 hours til closing, but we get there a little late at 5:30. We first go to the lodge, and the front desk asks us if we’re here to surf and we tell them we’re going to the lazy river/slide, and she directs us to the correct building, which was a complete waste of our time because we get to the correct building and the girl tells us the lazy river and slide close at 6 and there’s new hours after labor day. Why didn’t the first girl inform us of that and save us a walk to the other building??? Why is the website showing 2 different times for the park hours, and they’re BOTH incorrect? Was visiting Texas and was excited to experience the park but the lack of training of employees and mismanagement of the park’s website has resulted in this rating. Definitely don’t ever plan to go again because I can’t trust the site nor any of the employees at the park.

This was our first time coming here and we paid online before arriving. We paid 122.90 and as we got our bands and walked out we were told the park was closing due to a storm. Unbelievable! Not so much of a drop of rain. They refunded us on a gift card for 116.36, but we paid 122.90 and drove from College Station! I understand weather conditions, but why check me in and take our money and refunded on a gift card for their park less then what we paid! We won’t be back that’s for sure. I don’t want this gift card I want my money. Oh make sure you use the gift card before Labor Day!

Great place to go unwind, had wave pool access, slide and beach access. We also had a cabana right next to the wave pool and pretty much centrally located to the park. We had ages 14 to 58, all had a good time. Cabana was very clean and perfect for those wanting to get out of the sun for awile.Slide was great to watch people sliding down it. Great day!

I went to the park to take time out and float in the lazy river, not sure what to expect: I am beyond impressed by the staff, the activities and the resort offerings which they seem to be expanding/renovating to make even more impressive. I will definitely go back and recommend BSR cable park to my friends and family. Definitely check them out!

My husband had fun surfing but that was about it. The lazy river was gross. Water was gross and the sides are covered in spiders. My Apple Watch popped off on the water slide. We could have easily dove down to get it but they wouldn’t let us. They said they go down and retrieve stuff every night… we went on a Friday and they didn’t retrieve it until Sunday night. So my watch broke. Thanks a lot BSR. This place is run by a bunch of kids that don’t really care about what they’re doing and frankly look like they’re high. The lifeguard on duty at the surf pool was playing catch with a football instead of watching the pool. When asked to do his job he laughed and continued playing. I would never bring my kids and probably never go back myself.

Do your research before coming here, many people have died in this waterpark, with one person in particular that died from a brain-eating pathogen that was found in the cable park. Also, the refund policy is shady; once you buy tickets good luck getting your money back

This place is absolute trash. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Literally came back home itching so bad after getting in the water. Would definitely not recommend going at all. My whole family has this type of rash all over the body. I’m pretty sure it was something in the water because it has a funny smell. The water does not look anything like the pictures. Would not recommend this place at all!!!!

Wow!! What an amazing place! I'm surprised not anyone has gotten seriously injured or killed here but what an experience. If you love extreme activities like wakeboarding, surfing, or gathering up the nerve to go down that insane slide this place is for you. It's an unforgettable experience with great staff, good food(really surprised at how good the burger was) and the very best people watching you can ever get then this place is for you. It's a must see if you are anywhere in a 2 hour radius.

Tips = Bring your own inflatable or use their complimentary tubes. Bring your own food or purchase burgers from the surf shack. Bring your own refreshing beverage and toss in extras for friends! Arrive early for some shaded picnic areas with a great view of the slides/Royal Flush. Your littles will appreciate the addition of some sand toys for the surf/wave beach.
There were over 20 of us meeting there for fun in the sun - all of our 1st trips to BSR... 5 stars from everyone.
Side note. Be prepared for 54minute round trip on the lazy river. It’s a slow steady flow that is relaxing - not taxing.

If I could give 0 stars I would this place is garbage. If you want a good experience your better off driving to San Marcos and floating down the river.

The place is legit trash. The service is disgusting. Hawaiian Falls is a 10 out of 10 compared to this place and that says a lot. Also prices went up twice as much. Not worth it. If you want to give your money to a Californian go ahead and buy a ticket

Horrible service. Get ready to be profiled and judge regardless of skin color. I’ve had better service at Hawaiian Falls and that says a lot. They disrespect you like they are doing you a favor.. but you are the one spending your hard earned money here. Disgusting.

Awesome experience. It was out first time. We came from out of town. There is free parking so get there early! VIP parking is $20. They have a great family package that's affordable. Beach vibes for days! Loved the slide. They even have a fun lazy river to adventure around on a float. Have total freedom with a few safety rules and life guards. Overall, spectacular time! Would recommend for anyone wanting a getaway in water, waves, and wonder :)

I loved my time there! Prices are great make sure to bring your own food and refreshments!...and lots of them. We all will return with more people to the party!

Literally have been going here every other weekend.. And it's great. The admission was $35 at the beginning of summer, and understandably it could increase peak season, but within one week the admission is up to $50. Went on Saturday and took the cooler, as usual. Was about to get into the river only to rudely be informed that we had to pay for a cooler float ON TOP of the admission price. So we had to walk back to the check in shack, and purchase a $10 cooler band. They claim that the higher rate is to keep numbers down, but it was literally PACKED EVERYWHERE!!!!

Had a great time just me and the wife. If we wanted to bring our 4 year old, not a lot of options. Overall a great time, the slide was epic. It takes more than one time to get the feel for it, but gives you the adrenaline rush you might want.

Had a great time at BSR Cable Park, Chilled in the lazy river for a few hours, met some really great people, the staff was extremely helpful and helped point us in the right direction when it came to parking, or directions to specific place in general. Checking in was smooth and easy, fun and professional and welcoming! Short and sweet but helpful they did their best to keep the line moving and avoiding a stand still line. They do stop you before going into river and pool area to check coolers for glass, which they made easy. Overall we had a blast will definitely be planning another trip from Dallas there again!
