Now, the Aqua Park - you HAVE to try it. It’s pure, splash-filled fun! You really have to give it a go!
A small recommendation: I think the floating obstacle course should be split by age. There were full-grown adults throwing themselves around, which is great for them, truly, and they should be having fun too, but not so great for my youngest, who had to leave early. It’s totally fair that everyone wants to have fun, but maybe a designated under-13 section would help balance things out.
My only tiny complaint? The toilets. I had to ask a stranger for toilet paper, which, hey, is one way to make new friends!
Overall, a great day out, and I’d absolutely go again.
The only issue I would like to point out is that when older teenagers were on the aqua park they were extremely boisterous and that impacted the younger kids enjoyment
The lake is somewhat warm, which is good, so not be freeze in the water on an overcast day.
We'll be back.
It’s quieter earlier so better for young kids then.
Better sub some other inflatable parks I’ve been on as it didn’t have scratchy Velcro holding sections together so there were no cuts which was nice. Would be good if it had more jumping platforms as the main one got super busy.
A lot of fun all in all.
would 100% recommend to everyone. makes for a good family day out
We booked online for 10 people plus a table. When we arrived your staff were so helpful, so polite and very patient.
The kids had a blast on the obstacle course. My 6 year old was popping up all over the place. She loved it.
Recommend the Aqua park for ages 6-17
Music was great. Toilets were clean and BBQs were clean and great to cook on once we got it working.
Just a fabulous day out for families and friends.
Thank you Cables
We had an excellent day with waterskiing first and a run around the waterpark after.
This is park is open year round, and we recommend to bring a wetsuit. If you don’t have one you can hire a wetsuit $20,-
There is a kiosk for coffee, Thea and softdrinks they also sell snacks chips/pies etc and a few health options.
I recommend being highly cautious going to Cables if there is any sign of bad weather as they take your money and give nothing in return. I would not book tickets (I.e. give them your money) in advance if there is doubt over weather as they will take it and give nothing in return.
I have been to Cables a lot and spent a ton of money there, but the experience I had below really sours my opinion of the place. It could be the senior employee who works there called Courtney who is not customer focused. There are other negative Google reviews about the same problem with the same senior person.
LEGAL WARNING:
Courtney WITHOUT CONSENT puts customer telephone calls on SPEAKERPHONE so that OTHER STAFF CAN HEAR YOUR CALL WITH HER.
I paid for a private Wakeboard lesson and separately also paid for a day pass to use the Cable Park afterwards. Cables closed due to severe rain/wind/thunder during the middle of my lesson around 1pm and before I could use the day Cable pass I paid for.
The staff forced everyone to evacuate that day and hundreds of customers were urgently herded out of the premises. The Cables staff were refusing to issue refunds or complimentary vouchers and instead were telling all customers (including by standing on the reception desk and shouting over the top of everyone) to “email the business in order to get a refund or complimentary pass” as the business didn’t have the facilities to process doing this for the hundreds of people they were urgently herding through the reception area and outside. Based on this I did not apply for a refund/complimentary voucher before leaving as the staff prevented this.
The Cables employee called Courtney who I had contact with in order to get my refund/complimentary day pass told me that as none of the staff rostered on that day worked at the business any longer she could not verify the staff told the customers to email in their ask for a complimentary pass or refund. So Courtney was refuting my statement that customers were told by staff to email the business to get a refund or complimentary pass.
When I suggested Courtney check the video footage of the staff telling customers to email in their ask for a refund she flat out refused that as an option.
When I suggested Courtney to check customer emails in the weeks following the event she also flat out refused to. [Interestingly I see other Google reviews with complaints similar to mine.]
When I said to her “Do what is right for your customer” she said she wasn’t going to give me any solution.
As per Australian Consumer Law if the problem is due to something beyond the business’s control, which they didn’t know about when the consumer purchased the product or service, the consumer should give the business a chance to provide a solution.
It is highly disappointing Cables refused to honour what their staff told customers during the evacuation.
I thought highly of the business and enjoyed using their facilities until this experience.
Cables continues to avoid their consumer obligation by saying they will only issue a complimentary pass if it is applied for before leaving the premises, as that is what is written in their terms and conditions. Under consumer law a company’s terms and conditions are not allowed to negate consumer rights.
Cables T&C’s state:
“If we experience inclement weather that includes lightning (or some other extreme weather condition), the Park will suspend operations if it is deemed unsafe by Management to enter the water.
We do not issue refunds.
If the Park closes for the day, all customers remaining in the park will receive a complimentary return ticket for a visit during the current season prior to leaving the Park.
If you do not retrieve your voucher prior to leaving, you will not be issued a voucher at a later time (via email or phone etc).”
And the property needs to be inspected regularly and thoroughly to avoid dangerous incidents. There were tree stubbs in the water that could not be seen. This caused an injury to one of our party.
The concept of the park is great but a review needs to be carried out of the actual facility and cost to parents.
If you are fortunate enough to have Rob operating when you go, you will be in for a great day!! He has so much positive energy that it infects everyone around and is so helpfull that you will be shreeding in no time. We need more people like him in this world! 🤙
Booked two sessions, first got cancelled because of lightning, asked for a refund but were told the T&Cs say no refunds. Understandable if you live locally but when you're from interstate that's pretty poor!
Well done Courtney for sticking to the company rules and putting profits before customers.
Literally only one thing I didn’t like was the lifeguards yelling at kids (not my kids) to not go on the slide 1 more time as the session had just ended maybe 2/3 minutes prior, another life guard was saying to everyone to hurry up and get out of the water, although I do realise people in the past may have taken advantage of their session I don’t think there is a need to be so strict and to yell about people ended their session.
Like i said apart from that the place was perfect,we will be back.
We live 1.5 hours from this venue.
Early Saturday morning I tried to contact the venue via phone and email and got no response until today from Courtney telling me their office hours are Monday to Friday. But they operate 7 days a week???
We decided Saturday to follow NSW health guidelines and stayed (home)indoors.
This company have not been helpful they won’t let us rebook unless we pay again the full amount $260, with the cost of living we can not afford to repay, my daughter is so upset.
I think this company is been very unreasonable and very unfair.
I was not asking for refund I just requested to reschedule due to extreme weather conditions.Never again.
Very poor customer service.
Was busy as it was a nice day and weekend but it didnt feel over crowded.
Great facilities, kids food was ok - kind of expected for a birthday party.
Easy to get to and great amount of parking available
Would definitely and highly recommend Cables wake park to anyone and everyone!
Although I have had a sore arms for next 2 days, it was totally worth it!
No experience needed, clear instructions and friendly staff members.
Also plenty of parking, nice shaded balcony to chill and beautiful shop at the entrance for all you need for surfing and other water sports.
Try to book early morning sessions to avoid crowd and waiting time on the queue to jump.
Highly recommended.
Spacious water pool. Facilities are well maintained.

Thank you for the Councel, the managers of Cables Wake Park & Aqua Park, thanks for the staff and for every one making this place excellent...
I want thank all the Staff that serve us, on Sunday 30/10/2022.
Either at the food place, or at the park, they are very welcoming, happy, and they share the joy on the place.
We did say their tell they close, with no one been rude to us. They were very professional 👏.
I strongly recommend it 👌.
THANK YOU.
Will rate this place 3.5 star. Could be more enjoyable if they give more instructions to the beginners.
Overall it is a good park for kids.
We didn’t use the wake boarding but that looked pretty fantastic as well.
The food was typical “amusement park” fare, but that is part of the day out.
The facilities were clean even though it was a pretty busy day.
It is a long drive from the city, but that again is part of the adventure.
The aqua park is so much fun with a big group of friends. Not sure how clean the water is but it's worth it!
General facilities are also excellent. Worth the drive!
