Cairns Wake Park je místo pro všechny příznivce vodních sportů a domácí půda pro některé z nejlepších australských jezdců. Cairns Wake Park je jediný park s vlekem na severu Queenslandu. Začátečník i pokročilý se může bavit na dobře navržené trati plné známých překážek a k tomu i nějaké custom překvapení. K dispozici je veškeré vybavení pro začátečníky, wakeboardy, záchranné vesty a helmy. Nafukovací aquapark vedle vleku poskytuje zábavu pro jednotlivce i celou rodinu. Nafukovací hřiště je ideální pro každého, kdo se chce trochu zchladit ve vodě. K příjemné atmosféře přispívá pláž se slunečníky, gril a malá laguna určená ke koupání.

It was a fantastic experience for a first-timer. My husband purchased the two-hour session. After a brief safety video, the first-timer is required to successfully kneeboard around the course, avoiding all the ramps. This took at least an hour to learn and required considerable upper body strength. After switching boards, Sam assisted by placing the board in the water until the standing position was mastered. Sam was very encouraging and invested as an instructor. Although my husband didn't manage to complete the course while standing, I highly recommend this experience.
We also purchased the delicious chili nachos from John at the snack bar. We highly recommend this as well.

Fantastic day out for the kids and adults. Staff were great and friendly. Not as big as the Aqua Park at the Gold Coast but still had heaps of fun. Couple things: 1) Don't wear white muddy water. 2) Get an early timeslot. We had a double slot and started to get quite busy closer to lunch time.

Perfect spot for a kids bday party. Staff was so helpful and thoughtful. All stress of looking after a group of kids taken care of. Everyone had a great time.

Very challenging but great fun if you can get the hang of it. Went on a Friday, around lunch seemed to be the quietest time. Food was pretty good, slightly expensive but expected.

Not so fun for first timers, this sports require persistance and training, it's more a hobby you'd return to rather than a one off holiday adventure.
The staff was very friendly and provided nice advices but even though, we were not able to get up on a standing board. The pull force is too strong for beginners, ripped my skin just under my wedding ring. The knee boards were fine after a couple tries, even managed a couple laps.
The smaller kids aqua park area is way too small and kids got easily bored while waiting for the bigger ones to finish their 2hr session.
The system got jammed a few times too so they extended our sessions to make up for the wait. If you fall from the board at the back, you'll have a very long way to walk back in a very slippery muddy path, felt disgusting and unsafe.

Cairns Wake Park is super fun. At first it was really challenging but then it got easier, really nice staff that helped me learn the basics but that corner is really tough. I recommend this to anyone that is looking for an adventure :).

My children had a wonder time in the kids club session. The instructor recognised my child’s achievements and suggested trying the next level to stand up. Great that they have the buggy to help the children come back to the start and not always have to trek a long walk with board back to the start. Thanks guys for a fantastic morning.

Great local family run business. The staff are nurturing, patience and skilled in the art of teaching beginners (kids and adults) kneeboarding and/or wakeboarding or teaching tricks (when you're ready). I highly recommend popping down, even if it's to watch the amazing locals hitting the ramps from their balcony overlooking the park.

We tried out the kids club during holidays. Super friendly, kind and helpful staff. My kids first time boarding and they absolutely loved it. We will come back for sure.

Great morning at the Wake Park for the last day of our holiday to FNQ. My little two loved the inflatable course - great staff and reasonable pricing. My eldest enjoyed trying the wake boarding although there was a lot of waiting around. A fun morning out!

Nice place to visit for a fun couple of hours. Would recommend going for two hours to fully experience either the wakeboarding or the aquapark on offer here. Lots of fun!

A great wake park with a lot of potential. Local kids/teens seem to get treated in favour though routinely riding more than the allocated laps. The two line system also creates a “if you are better you get favoured” vibe, as such, its hard to introduce friends to the sport when it’s even slightly busy.

We had a really fun time here for two hours, at the start there were about 3 or 4 people in the queue so we had lots of turns, later on more people arrived so we waited about 10 minutes in the queue each time. This wasn't a problem because it's quite tiring to keep going! One hour won't be enough if it's busy, you won't get many turns. The staff are really helpful if you make sure to ask them lots of questions if you're unsure. Definitely recommend kneeboarding if you are a beginner, the wakeboarding was pretty hard so you'll have lots of failed starts before you get to enjoy it.

Pricing is fair. Staff weren't exactly helpful on how-to, but managed to figure it out on our own accord, and did what worked for us.
Had a children's birthday party at Aqua Park, this was a whole lot of fun!
The entrance to this business isn't pleasing unfortunately, I understand it's a low lying area prone to flooding, a bit of grass would be nice to see instead of dirt/dried mud.
Other than these minor things, I would still recommend this business and return.

Had an amazing time here on my birthday and was happy with the amount of time we got for how much it cost! I would have appreciated a little more help around starting as it was my first time and I had no idea what I was getting into. Fortunately I love board sports so got the hang of it after a 3rd attempt but the people I went with struggle the whole 2hr so more teaching would have been nice! Otherwise, I had a great time and would highly recommend it ✌️

Not pleasant. There isn’t a proper drive way to the centre. Water isn’t clean. Facility is old. The ropes keep dropping off from the machine. Good fun if you are experienced. Not much fun for beginners. The machine pulls the rope very fast to take off, way harder than doing this behind a boat. If you don’t have strong arms and upper body strength, don’t bother. The instructor wasn’t much of a help either. He obviously knew I was an absolute beginner, watched me failed three times, but didn’t offer to slow the machine down for me. Later another girl came and failed to take off. Then he slowed down the machine to make it easier for her to take off. If wasn’t because of her, I wouldn’t even know they could adjust the speed. I wish he offered the same help to me earlier. I understand that you can like someone or dislike someone as a person. But as a service provider, at least offer the same level of help for the same amount of money they paid you. Give them a good experience. Don’t make it so obvious that you don’t welcome them there.

Was my first time down to cairns from the Gold Coast, amazing staff will definitely come again in the future!! Thanks to the team member who assisted me in knee boarding , had a laugh about me face planting !

The price is rather cheap, especially if you manage to catch a deal via bookme.com.au outside peak hours. They have many interesting obstacles. The park is well maintained. The staff was very helpful. The rental stuff was in decent shape and it matched my size rather well.

This place is very expensive for what u get. The 3or4 laps then drop off doesn't apply here so its hard to get a good go and staff dont monitor it. Unless they have a beginner and experiece area seperate i wouldn't waste ur money or time.

Finally got the opportunity to hit up cairns wake park for a shred after flying into cairns for work. Park is awesome and totally different to all the other cables I’ve gone too. Staff were awesome and super friendly and the general vibe of the place is great. Easy to sit back for a couple of hours, have a few beers (on tap!) and enjoy.
The park itself has some awesome and some challenging obstacles that are super fun.
All round 5 stars and definitely worth the trip!

amazing activity to spend time with good friends/family together @ Aqua park, minimum 2 hrs is a necessary !! 1 hr for $15, 2 hrs for $20

My first time at a Wake Park and it was great. Booked a 2 hour session and had plenty of rides. The staff helped get this first-timer up and boarding, and I was limited only by my own fitness.

Probably great fun if you're an experienced wakeboarder but if you've done it a handful of times behind a boat it's a different story. There's no proper instruction other than how to get up, and no one supervising the riders I feel like there will be a serious incident here one day.

My grandsons, who were on holiday, love this place so much, we came once a week while they were in Cairns for three weeks. Friendly, helpful staff and a lot of fun!

Two members of our family had a go at wakeboarding for the first time at the wake park. While there were plenty of experienced people there having a fun time it wasn't such a success for us. It's not easy to even get up onto the wake board, and unfortunately we seemed to be there at a busy time, with lots of school aged kids arriving not long after we started. That meant the time between each try to stand up stretched out to maybe 10 minutes or so. So an hour for a beginner could be just 5 or 6 attempts to stand up without success.
Staff were kind of helpful but didn't show a lot of enthusiasm.
If you want to try for the first time be prepared to allow more than an hour, have plenty of enthusiasm and go at a quiet time.

I don't even know what to say, this place is amazing. I love this place to bits. the aqua park is sooooo fun and the cable ski is awesome.

Definitely lots of fun for the kids. The park is quite cheap and offers a licensed cafe with food and drinks. The state of the park is thou a little concerning. There was a pungent smell of stagnant water and “cow-like” manure. That was enough for myself to abstain from water activities. Not sure how the management checks the safety of the water and the bacteria, just fingers crossed hubby and daughter won’t get sick any soon.

Fun way to spend a day in Cairns! Recommending going with a 4-hour pass as the time will fly by! If you are a beginner, you will need to start with a couple of passes on the kneeboard to get a feel of your balance on the water, before moving on to the board where you will need a few more passes before you can complete a full run. Between your ability to stand up, turn & keep up, and the amount of people also enjoying their day at the Wake park (plus a few mechanical problems...) you will find that half a day is what you really need to make the most of it! Recommend. Enjoy!

Great place for kids and adults, prices are good. Currently undergoing improvements but no disruption to park and it's only going to get better when completed. Food and drink available here too so a great place to spend the day

The website was a little misleading, we thought it was much bigger and had more things for the kid's to do. It's currently under construction, very dusty and the amusement is a little run down. Bigger kid's pushed the little kid's around and there was limited or no supervision while the kids we're playing. It was cheap $20 for 2 hour's

We had my grandson's birthday party there. Such a lot of fun for the kids with all the inflatable play equipment.
My only complaint would be that there were a lot of kids parties and way too many children for the amount of supervisors.
As much as we tried to watch our kids constantly it's not possible without help to be across the whole area they cover.
