Wasserski Friedenhain-See
Máš rád něco nej? Tak doraž někdy na Friedenhain-See. Je tu pro wakeboardy nejdelší vlek na světě měřící 1200m. Má kruhovou délku 1200 metrů a má 12 nosičů. Maximální rychlost je 58 km/h. Na trase je osm překážek. Pro padlý kamarády je zřízena speciální vodní služba, která je všechny sváží motorovým člunem zpátky na břeh. V blízkosti je taky kemp, kam můžeš zaparkovat klidně karavan nebo mobilheim. Nedaleko vleku je krásná pláž, kde můžeš relaxovat, chytat bronz nebo jen tak sledovat jiný riderz. A hlavně restauraci tu najdeš taky…vždycky to chce něco pořádnýho k jídlu. Pro děti je tu hybrid skluzavky a tobogánu a jinak jde taky půjčit paddleboard a nebo si zahrát beach. Přijeď si dát kolo na nejdelším vleku na světě!

Very nice and very long water ski facility, but unfortunately currently without catering and with a very "customer-unfriendly" operator. The other employees are very helpful and nice.
Hopefully next season there will be gastro at the lake again to spend beautiful summer days there

We stayed at this place for two nights to visit the Gäubodenvolksfest with local friends.
The space was okay for our purposes.
We were greeted friendly. Which was also the only encounter with an employee.
The toilets were clean upon arrival and everything was stocked. Unfortunately, that quickly changed. Toilet paper and paper towels were quickly empty and were not sufficiently refilled until we left.
The entrances to the toilets, like many other things on the site, can be opened with cards (like in the hotel). A good solution in itself, unfortunately the electric lock beeps, which was very annoying at night.
Despite the positive features such as the leisure activities or the central location in Straubing, we would not come back.

Family campsite. Very good price. For €32 per night, parking space, water, electricity, disposal, hot water shower and entry to the swimming lake are included.
The swimming lake has a wakeboarding facility and several areas for stand-up paddling, so the area for swimming is very small. The restaurant is closed and there is no kiosk on site. The nearest supermarket is about 6 km away.
The toilets and flushing areas are clean, but the showers are unfortunately moldy.

It's enough to read the responses to past reviews to get an impression of the unfriendliness of the operators. The lady in the cash register at least tries, but the operator of the water ski facility is the definition of rude. This is also noticeable in the number of visitors, which has continued to decline in recent years. On the one hand, this is due to the outdated facility, no restaurant (no wonder) or a kiosk for ice cream or similar. And, on the other hand, due to the many forbidden places. Sanitary facilities are fine. As a bather, you are not allowed access to the showers.
A change of operator would be urgently recommended.
One hopes for more from the “largest water ski facility in the world”. Especially when it comes to jumps or wakeboards to rent. Just an unnecessarily long cable car with no obstacles.
All in all an outdated and run down facility with many forbidden places. An uncomfortable feeling during the visit included.

Few free parking spaces.11 for motorhomes. Very clean and electricity and water on the pitches. One night with 2 people 32€. Everything with Cihp cards. No more restaurant. No shopping options on site. About 5 km by bike. Friendly owners and staff. Gladly again

A beautiful complex, the location by the lake is wonderful, quiet place in the low season, the restaurant serves delicious food, the area also has a lot to offer, about 1 km and you can buy fresh vegetables and fruit in the field, you can also buy Physalis harvest from the bushes

We were there for three days and were then able to easily switch to our parents, who took over the caravan site. Here you have to praise the staff that everything went so uncomplicated. We also had a small problem with our neighbors, the operator reacted immediately and professionally. That's what you want. All in all, a great campsite that you've rediscovered yourself as a native of Straubing. Keep it up

Hello, the campsite is quite old. The water ski lift is a big plus, unfortunately the operator is not that friendly. Sanitary facilities for women are okay. The men's sanitary facilities are unsanitary and have a strong odor. My 16 year old son refused to take a shower there. The restaurant is now open again and unfortunately only has a very limited and unhealthy menu, but there is a bread roll service again. Can be done, does not have to be.

We discovered the campsite by chance on our return journey from Croatia. We were given a place by the lake by the nice couple who ran the place and they were both friendly and patient when we had questions. Clean sanitary facilities, disposal stations, electricity and large, spacious showers, a small restaurant by the lake, that's all we needed. The price/performance ratio is also absolutely right. Thumbs up 👍🏻

Nice place to stay 2-3 days on transit to Croatia. The lake is right in front of the Womo. The operators are friendly and helpful. All in all, we like it here. 👍🏼

Nice and quiet campsite. It is obviously an older facility that is kept very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. I would say that the cost and offer are in good proportion here. If I could improve something, I would tackle the area of waste disposal.

We were able to spontaneously spend the night here on our bike tour. Tents can be set up on a separate meadow or by the lake. Good sanitary facilities and quiet campsite. The lake has a nice swimming beach with some trees for shade. There is also a water ski facility, a swimming area and an area for SUP. Good value for money and friendly staff.

Nice place for motorhomes. However very expensive (22€/night +2€ electricity). Pitch on a campsite.

Nice beach. Super Wakeboard course. It is also one of the best local lakes for SUP.
Overall, I really liked everything, except that we came here because there is a washroom (it really is) and dining options. But citing covid, both restaurants are still closed to this day, for which there is currently no reason. The beach is full... It's very annoying that you have to pay an entrance fee, but you can't even buy yourself a cold drink. It would be one of the best beaches in the area...

Ein Platz mit viel Potential. Aber man hat das Gefühl er ist im Tiefschlaf.
Das Restaurant ist zu, nicht mal a Steckerleis gibt es.
Container für Duschen und waschen. Ebenso zum abspülen. Sind zweckmäßig könnte besser riechen drinnen.
Wir hatten den Stellplatz 10 .Der war von der Lage super. Der See läd zum Baden ein.

Nice and quiet campsite. Were able to camp with a direct view of the lake. There are extra parking spaces for long-term campers, we walked through them, there are some funny buildings. The lake is very nice with a lawn, toilets and showers were okay.

Easier place, mostly inhabited by long-term campers who barricade themselves strangely to 80%.
The square thus had more of the character of an allotment garden. Somewhat out of the way.
Negative:
The buildings urgently need renovation. The disposal corner was unattractive and unkind with construction fences.
We had reserved by email and we were assigned a mobile home space (M). The pitches are loveless and not beautiful.
On request we were able to switch to a "campsite" (W). These were then the exact opposite. Generous and well cared for. Why is it not offered to you even though almost everything was free?
Neutral / Positive:
The staff was friendly.
The sanitary blocks were "only" containers, but everything was intact and clean.
The restaurant is in an idyllic location with a view of the lake. Simple menu with a good price / performance ratio.
The lake is great: easy access, warm and clear.
Conclusion: I can only advise against the RV sites. At most for one night as a passage. The other places are recommended if you like peace and solitude.
I would like to give 3.5 stars, but that is not possible.

All recreational facilities are getting old and sometimes not at all intact anymore. The swings are ancient and that there was a children's seesaw, one recognizes only on the cast-in car tires. In the lake, some of the old and old ski jumps of the water ski track have just been parked on the shore. At the jetties, the concrete has already broken out. The changing rooms at the lake are old houses that are not visible as changing rooms. All in all, a beautiful lake with infrastructure from the 90s. For the transit is just like that.

We have had a fantastic break at Friedenhainsee. Looking forward to returning in October.
