Orlando Watersports Complex, O-dub, alias OWC, alias The Cable
Orlando Watersports Complex je jedinečný park určený pro wakeboarding, wakeskating, kneeboarding a všechno, co jede na vodě. OWC je ideálním místem pro jezdce všech úrovní. Od začínajících jezdců, kteří chtějí vyzkoušet rekreační sport, až po profesionální wakeboardisty z celého světa, OWC vyhovuje všem. Nejvýhodnějším aspektem parku je nesmírné množství času, které můžete strávit na vodě. The wakeboarding attraction was a total adrenaline rush! I had an absolute blast riding the waves and performing tricks... on the wakeboard. The staff was super friendly and provided excellent guidance for beginners like me. It's a must-visit spot for all thrill-seekers and water sports enthusiasts. Took my son (7 y/o) here while vacationing in the area. He has some experience knee boarding, but i wanted to introduce... him to wakeboarding. Top notch facility and service to match. I didn’t get the girls name that checked us in, but she was great and explained everything- very hospitable!! She even made it a point to talk to us again upon leaving to see how our experience went. Nathan was my sons coach and he was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and you could tell he’s used to working with kids. This was a great break from the big parks, and well worth it!!celá recenze

I came to the park today for the get up guarantee. As a mom of two, I’ve never been wakeboarding and wasn’t feeling... confident at all. But, it was on my bucket list and I wanted to try it as we live close to a chain of lakes. I had a great experience with Clay on the 2.0 cable. He was super helpful, encouraging, and friendly. Unfortunately, as soon as I got to the regular cable park that changed. I believe the summer camp crew was there and I waited 30 minutes for my first cable, and the kids from the summer camp would cut me in line constantly like I wasn’t even there. I asked for slow starts on the cable but kept falling, my feet kept slipping out of the boots, and the cable operator unfortunately was not very friendly and just kept yelling at me to bend my knees. I ultimately ended up leaving without even using the cable park access to the fullest, because I was feeling so discouraged. Overall, I feel like my $90 was wasted. I do feel more time on the 2.0 cable would have been better for me. I didn’t really get the hang of turning yet and was really trying to understand balancing and more. My best friend and I brought our children here for our last day of vacation. (Two 14 year old boys, one 8 year old... girl) we had a BLAST! We purchased tickets for the aqua park only but after we arrived “Marketa” (I think) helped us at the counter and we ended up renting the tubing for the boats and the wakeboarding for the kids! 10/10 I do recommend! She was so sweet and so patient with all of our questions. The gentlemen that took us on the boat tubing made sure the kids stayed safe but had a blast. The gentleman working the concession was super sweet as well. Thank you for such a memorable moment for our family! We only live on the other coast so we will definitely be back!!celá recenze

I am a local and have been coming to OWC for years now. However I have been taking many more boat sets in the last few... years as Wake Surfing has been a bigger part of my riding. The coaches and boat experience has been amazing. Even hosting an event put on by Anns Angels which our special needs daughter loved. Amazing place and great staff, we went to have our kids wakeboard, we usually wakeboard behind our boat, they had so... much fun, Nathan the instructor was really nice and patient and spent extra time as needed to make our kids safe and comfortable in the cable, Markita (i hope im spelling her name right) was very welcoming at the counter and really helped us and was super friendly, we will be back for sure!!celá recenze

My daughter and I did the Stand Up Guarantee and absolutely loved it. Our instructor, Nate, was patient and very... detailed in his explanation, which resulted in success on the speed controlled cable. Both of us were able to ski the length of the area. I only wished that those skills would have translated to the standard cable. We spent 3 hours on the standard cable and wiped out and face planted the entire time because there was no gradual build up to speed and that line was simply too fast. Starting from the deck was also very different. The guidance from the person running the line was limited and was really of no help. All around we had a great time and will return to do this again. Great facility with easy access to all areas as well as convenient parking.celá recenze

Wow, just Wow!! My family of 5 has been to Orlando many times and finally decided to skip the parks and try some other... activities. We had THE BEST day at Orlando Watersports Complex. My two older boys had a cable lesson which is followed by 4 hours of cable use. Myself and my youngest signed up for 4 hours of the blow up water park. Never did I think we'd stay the whole time, but sure enough we had to drag them out when our time was up! Jordan was the boys instructor and was absolutely AWESOME!! He was so kind, encouraging and laid back, they loved it! One of my boys can get frustrated easily, but Jordan may him feel comfortable and gave him the confidence to keep going for it. Nathan was the lifeguard on duty for the waterpark, he was so friendly and kind to the kids, and didn't mind chatting with this Mom while keeping an eye on the park. And don't worry about alligators, that was the first thing I asked and Nathan assured me they'd have to walk 5 miles and cross 2 highways to land in the pond. The complex also has food for purchase which was excellent! No junk here, just delicious, homemade flatbreads and bowls with fresh ingredients. If you have a free afternoon in Orlando I would ABSOLUTELY recommend checking out the Orlando Watersports Complex.celá recenze

This cable park is the best I've been to in Florida. The people there are fvery friendly and the parks are great. Yes... parks. There are 2 cable parks. One for the crazy kids and one for the old guys like me. Both great. There equipment is great for renting and always on point. There's even food and a little beach to rest on if you take some nice face plants like myself. Overall, love love love the place and can wait to go backcelá recenze

Had a fantastic day here! We're from the UK and our son was so excited about riding here. The courses were excellent -... with a great range of ramps and features. The food was lovely and we throughly enjoyed hanging out onsite for the day. Best of all were the staff, especially in the shop - everyone was so helpful, very friendly and went the extra mile for us. Hope to visit again some day 🙂celá recenze

This is a fun place to go. They offer classes for beginners that are reasonably priced. It is fun to go here just to... watch people zip around the course. There are many different jumps that people use. Some people probably beginners, do go over any of the jumps. I think anyone who goes through one of their classes , can go around the course when the class is over. The only mild complaint I have is that it is almost hard to find. You can see it from the toll road but when you exit the toll road to actually go there, it is hard to find the right roads. With GPS and mapping, that was surprising to me. Just saw that you opened a water park thing. You even featured a video of little kids trekking through amoeba water to... get to the float and slide things. Are you serious? After a child already died after contracting brain eating amoebas at this exact location? The amoebas love living in the soil in the shallow water, where it gets nice and hot for them to fester. Only did the Aqua Park and it was super fun despite the inflatables being pretty filthy and the obstacle course... different from what is advertised, I'm guessing some of the inflatables popped. Definitely recommend water shoes though, I couldn't pass a single obstacle without falling in the water while the person I was with wearing water shoes managed to stay upright most of the time.celá recenze

Place was pretty good. The water park was different then advertised but still good. Locker rental is $4 for the whole... day and had a good vest selection. Knocked it down to 3 stars cause the pricing for snacks and drinks, they charge $4.50 for a bottle of soda where you can buy them as a 12 pack from Walmart for $5. I took 2 new wakeboarders and 1 semi-experience boarder. The 15 minute get up guarantee worked during the lesson.... However, the 2 newbies could not get up on the cable. It is a different setup compared to the lesson cable. The semi-experienced boarder eventually got the hang of it. I would say for people who have boarded before, this place is a good place to go. For the new riders, not so much. Getting up from a boat is drastically different from a cable.celá recenze

The BEST first time experience here! The staff was super welcoming and helpful for my partners first time trying water... sports. The Wake Surf boat rental was the super nice because we were able to ride the cables unlimited after our one hour session. We had so much fun!!!!celá recenze

We had a great time for my nephews birthday. The whole family had a blast. I just think they should lower the age limit... to 5 years old. My 5 year old wasn’t able to do it even tho he was taller then 3’7. He was very sad. Other then that everything was great. My 5 year old did practice his back flips on the little beach but he wanted to be with his big brothers. That’s the only thing I wish they can change. We want to go again but we will have to wait a year since my little one isn’t 6 😞.celá recenze

We only knew of the place because a Festival of Lights event was being held there. Either do the event in Fall or early... Spring bc when it's a feels like 103° and there's no shade it got unpleasant. The food trucks that were there did take care of the masses but I think some were out dated (cash only). There wasn't any real beverage carts and the registration tents were at the opposite end of the complex. Not a well put event but when the night came the DJ played the right ambience of music and everyone had lifted spirits.celá recenze

The Lantern Festival was a great event! My daughter and I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. The event was well... organized, the food trucks brought very nice food, good price, and clean environment. I’ve done it all at OWC. Boat, cable, and aqua park. Enjoy it all. Very laid back facility, but well kept and well run.... Safety is always top priority.Two cents: The standard cable is a bit long for beginners (falling on the back is a long hike) and a bit boring for intermediate (again that back stretch is long and had no features while I was there.Update: 4/11/2022 - I wish I could give more stars. One of the best maintained parks I’ve been to. Did another boat session and the coaching was on point. Nathan was great! First time eating at OWC and the whole family was shocked. We were in the area for vacation and stopped at this place. We all had fun and everyone working was very helpful... especially with giving the kids pointers to get up on the wake boards. Also, the food was amazing! We had flat bread pizzas and smoothies👍 We would definitely come back in the future and would recommend anyone even if it's your first time to try them out!celá recenze
