Orlando Watersports Complex, O-dub, alias OWC, alias The Cable

I was nervous about having never done cable wakeboarding before, but the cable operator was super friendly and helpful, offering me instruction after each of my goes and had me doing a full lap within 90 minutes. I came on a Wednesday afternoon when it’s 50% off. Will be back on my next trip to Florida!

If I could give ten stars I would. OWC is amazing! Hands down the best cable park in central Florida! They have it all, 3 different cable systems for all levels of riding, the Aqua park is like a floating jungle gym (perfect for having fun and cooling off inbetween riding sets) and there’s the option to get on the nicest boats in the industry! Amazing food and drinks so you can stay fueled up and hydrated in the Florida sun. I can’t imagine a more perfect day than spending all day at Orlando Watersports Complex!

Amazing! Will definitely be back. Made the experience very memorable, and very fun. We got rained out and they were kind enough to postpone our time for the rain! Excellent customer service and the price is perfect for what it is, make sure to tip them for their outstanding service!

Super fun place to be. Staff was really nice and easy to deal with. Pricing was good and there so much to do here. I’d recommend to anyone visiting the area and wants to learn how to wakeboard or surf. Cable parks have lots of features. Will definitely be coming back!

I had the best time! It had been a couple of years since I last went wakeboarding, but Preston was incredibly kind and patient. He got me up on the water and cruising around the cable lake super fast! Thanks so much to the entire team! ☺️

Best day ever!! BRANDON was SOOO great and the best wakeboarding coach. Awesome environment and such a fun birthday idea. Good food and nice sitting areas.

The park is really good if you know how to surf or if you know how to do the cable. We paid the guaranteed stand up lessons for my two teen and its really different in the lesson area than the cable area, specially the starting speed. They tried several times and could not stand up. Most of the people I n line could not do it. I think the initial training must be better, this is my opinion based in our experience.

We felt welcome upon arrival. Unsure of where to go, the lady at the counter (wish I knew her name) helped us find our reservation and sign waivers. My 10-year-old son tried wakeboarding but struggled at first. Nathan, our patient instructor, let him get in the water to visualize his mistakes and improve.

One of the best cable parks out there!! They have some sick kickers, rails and many other features. Their staff is awesome and will help you with tips on how to land new tricks. Maddie and Cheyenne were super kind and friendly. Definitely and experience I would recommend to anyone, regardless of your skill level.

My husband went on Wednesday for 1/2 off cable prices and had an amazing time. The staff was so informative and helped him through his first time. It was a 10/10 experience and he can’t wait to return. I even enjoyed watching everyone. The staff really makes this place. Extremely supportive and friendly!!!

Visited a couple of times during a recent vacation in Florida. Fantastic facility with little no no wait times even on the weekend. Great staff, friendly and helpful and excellent food. Rode the cables and took the boat out, plenty for adults to stay entertained and an inflatable play park for children. Book boat in advance if your planning to do more than the cables only.

We had an amazing time. All three of our kids wake boarded for the first time. They each took a “get up guarantee” lesson and got up! Clay was an amazing teacher, very patient and good with kids. Nathan ran the cable line and was helpful and friendly with everyone. We are impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the great place to sit and watch, and the cleanliness of the park. Best experience!!

I had an absolute blast riding here. This is one of the best wake parks in the state of Florida and in America. The staff was super friendly and the environment and atmosphere. It’s just unmatched. I do a great job of driving a good culture and a clean and organize facility. Will definitely be coming back.

This was a great way to spend a couple of hours! It was my first time at a cable park but I do have experience wakeboarding, so getting up was no problem. If you don’t need lessons you can buy a pass for 2 hours and equipment is included. The instructor operating the cable park was giving good advice tailored to everyone using the course, although there was only a few of us on a Monday afternoon.
If you have friends or family that don’t wakeboard there’s also a cool water park set up with giant inflated slides etc, and lots of outdoor seating available.
Everyone was really friendly and relaxed. I enjoyed feeling like I was at friend’s lake house and not a restrictive corporate tourist trap.
I’ll be back on future trips.

We visited last week and my son took a wakeboarding/cable lesson. The instruction was exceptionally positive, and a great time was had by all. A great experience. If we lived locally, I'm sure we'd be back for more. Highly recommended.

We love OWC. They are so family friendly. Cole and John that run the cables really help to try and give everyone advice and want to see everyone succeed. Nathan, one of the coaches is amazing with teaching everyone.The entire staff is friendly, professional and helpful. 10/10 recommend this place!

I went here with my dad last week and had a blast! I’m from the PNW so it was my first time on a cable! I ride a lot of boat so I picked it up super easily. Employees were nice and gave me tips on how to land different tricks. Definitely coming back when I’m in a own again!

Went on my own to a Get up guarantee lesson that allows you to stay for 4 hrs on the cables afterwards and it was awesome! Listened to all the advice provided by Jordan, and then after I was standing on the standard cable in no time. During the lesson he got me standing with confidence in what felt like right away! The rest of my time I was having fun, falling, and getting a great feel of comfort on the board. Can’t wait to come back!

The wakeboarding attraction was a total adrenaline rush! I had an absolute blast riding the waves and performing tricks on the wakeboard. The staff was super friendly and provided excellent guidance for beginners like me. It's a must-visit spot for all thrill-seekers and water sports enthusiasts. I can't wait to go back and catch some more air on the wakeboard! 🏄♂️🌊🤙

Took my son (7 y/o) here while vacationing in the area. He has some experience knee boarding, but i wanted to introduce him to wakeboarding. Top notch facility and service to match. I didn’t get the girls name that checked us in, but she was great and explained everything- very hospitable!! She even made it a point to talk to us again upon leaving to see how our experience went. Nathan was my sons coach and he was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and you could tell he’s used to working with kids. This was a great break from the big parks, and well worth it!!

I came to the park today for the get up guarantee. As a mom of two, I’ve never been wakeboarding and wasn’t feeling confident at all. But, it was on my bucket list and I wanted to try it as we live close to a chain of lakes. I had a great experience with Clay on the 2.0 cable. He was super helpful, encouraging, and friendly. Unfortunately, as soon as I got to the regular cable park that changed. I believe the summer camp crew was there and I waited 30 minutes for my first cable, and the kids from the summer camp would cut me in line constantly like I wasn’t even there. I asked for slow starts on the cable but kept falling, my feet kept slipping out of the boots, and the cable operator unfortunately was not very friendly and just kept yelling at me to bend my knees. I ultimately ended up leaving without even using the cable park access to the fullest, because I was feeling so discouraged. Overall, I feel like my $90 was wasted. I do feel more time on the 2.0 cable would have been better for me. I didn’t really get the hang of turning yet and was really trying to understand balancing and more. I may come back, but not sure.

My best friend and I brought our children here for our last day of vacation. (Two 14 year old boys, one 8 year old girl) we had a BLAST! We purchased tickets for the aqua park only but after we arrived “Marketa” (I think) helped us at the counter and we ended up renting the tubing for the boats and the wakeboarding for the kids! 10/10 I do recommend! She was so sweet and so patient with all of our questions. The gentlemen that took us on the boat tubing made sure the kids stayed safe but had a blast. The gentleman working the concession was super sweet as well. Thank you for such a memorable moment for our family! We only live on the other coast so we will definitely be back!!

I am a local and have been coming to OWC for years now. However I have been taking many more boat sets in the last few years as Wake Surfing has been a bigger part of my riding. The coaches and boat experience has been amazing. Even hosting an event put on by Anns Angels which our special needs daughter loved. I have been more impressed in the recent past than i ever have.

Amazing place and great staff, we went to have our kids wakeboard, we usually wakeboard behind our boat, they had so much fun, Nathan the instructor was really nice and patient and spent extra time as needed to make our kids safe and comfortable in the cable, Markita (i hope im spelling her name right) was very welcoming at the counter and really helped us and was super friendly, we will be back for sure!!

First time here!!We had a great time. Did cable and obstacle course. Food was ok a bit expensive. I wasn’t aware I could have brought my own food. Next time we’ll be ready. Lots of seating comfy but need to replace cushions and pillows. Very helpful outside staff with boys trying to do the cables. We will definitely be back

My daughter and I did the Stand Up Guarantee and absolutely loved it. Our instructor, Nate, was patient and very detailed in his explanation, which resulted in success on the speed controlled cable. Both of us were able to ski the length of the area. I only wished that those skills would have translated to the standard cable. We spent 3 hours on the standard cable and wiped out and face planted the entire time because there was no gradual build up to speed and that line was simply too fast. Starting from the deck was also very different. The guidance from the person running the line was limited and was really of no help. All around we had a great time and will return to do this again. Great facility with easy access to all areas as well as convenient parking.

Wow, just Wow!! My family of 5 has been to Orlando many times and finally decided to skip the parks and try some other activities. We had THE BEST day at Orlando Watersports Complex. My two older boys had a cable lesson which is followed by 4 hours of cable use. Myself and my youngest signed up for 4 hours of the blow up water park. Never did I think we'd stay the whole time, but sure enough we had to drag them out when our time was up! Jordan was the boys instructor and was absolutely AWESOME!! He was so kind, encouraging and laid back, they loved it! One of my boys can get frustrated easily, but Jordan may him feel comfortable and gave him the confidence to keep going for it. Nathan was the lifeguard on duty for the waterpark, he was so friendly and kind to the kids, and didn't mind chatting with this Mom while keeping an eye on the park. And don't worry about alligators, that was the first thing I asked and Nathan assured me they'd have to walk 5 miles and cross 2 highways to land in the pond. The complex also has food for purchase which was excellent! No junk here, just delicious, homemade flatbreads and bowls with fresh ingredients. If you have a free afternoon in Orlando I would ABSOLUTELY recommend checking out the Orlando Watersports Complex.

What a blast! I took a surf lesson with Jordan. He was super helpful, upbeat, and encouraging. Before my surf lesson I spent the morning on the beginner cable course, and Jordan came by and gave me some pointers, which was above and beyond. It was a really awesome experience and wonderful hospitality from the entire staff!

This cable park is the best I've been to in Florida. The people there are fvery friendly and the parks are great. Yes parks. There are 2 cable parks. One for the crazy kids and one for the old guys like me. Both great. There equipment is great for renting and always on point. There's even food and a little beach to rest on if you take some nice face plants like myself. Overall, love love love the place and can wait to go back. Haily was awsome. She was so much help getting me set up and ripping. I cant wait to get back

Took our family of 6 to enjoy the cables and water park. Staff was super helpful in catering to all 6 of us! Jordan was great with our 9 year old son for his cable safety course. We look forward to visiting next time we are in Florida!

Had a fantastic day here! We're from the UK and our son was so excited about riding here. The courses were excellent - with a great range of ramps and features. The food was lovely and we throughly enjoyed hanging out onsite for the day. Best of all were the staff, especially in the shop - everyone was so helpful, very friendly and went the extra mile for us. Hope to visit again some day :)

This is a fun place to go. They offer classes for beginners that are reasonably priced. It is fun to go here just to watch people zip around the course. There are many different jumps that people use. Some people probably beginners, do go over any of the jumps. I think anyone who goes through one of their classes , can go around the course when the class is over. The only mild complaint I have is that it is almost hard to find. You can see it from the toll road but when you exit the toll road to actually go there, it is hard to find the right roads. With GPS and mapping, that was surprising to me. More signage along the road would help.

My son took a wakeboard lesson with Coach Nathan-he was great! Super friendly and explained everything so well. He really took the time to talk about the subtleties of what was going on with the board and the body in relation to the water and cable.

it was so nice! i really enjoyed the waterpark and the cable experience! it’s worth looking on the website to know the discount of the day. the place is great, there are couches and an area with sand on the floor. perfect for both kids and adults

Just saw that you opened a water park thing. You even featured a video of little kids trekking through amoeba water to get to the float and slide things. Are you serious? After a child already died after contracting brain eating amoebas at this exact location? The amoebas love living in the soil in the shallow water, where it gets nice and hot for them to fester. Not cool guys, build a dock or something so nobody has to go into the amoeba water

Only did the Aqua Park and it was super fun despite the inflatables being pretty filthy and the obstacle course different from what is advertised, I'm guessing some of the inflatables popped. Definitely recommend water shoes though, I couldn't pass a single obstacle without falling in the water while the person I was with wearing water shoes managed to stay upright most of the time.

Place was pretty good. The water park was different then advertised but still good. Locker rental is $4 for the whole day and had a good vest selection. Knocked it down to 3 stars cause the pricing for snacks and drinks, they charge $4.50 for a bottle of soda where you can buy them as a 12 pack from Walmart for $5. I recommend eating before you get here.

I took 2 new wakeboarders and 1 semi-experience boarder. The 15 minute get up guarantee worked during the lesson. However, the 2 newbies could not get up on the cable. It is a different setup compared to the lesson cable. The semi-experienced boarder eventually got the hang of it. I would say for people who have boarded before, this place is a good place to go. For the new riders, not so much. Getting up from a boat is drastically different from a cable.

The BEST first time experience here! The staff was super welcoming and helpful for my partners first time trying water sports. The Wake Surf boat rental was the super nice because we were able to ride the cables unlimited after our one hour session. We had so much fun!!!!

We had a great time for my nephews birthday. The whole family had a blast. I just think they should lower the age limit to 5 years old. My 5 year old wasn’t able to do it even tho he was taller then 3’7. He was very sad. Other then that everything was great. My 5 year old did practice his back flips on the little beach but he wanted to be with his big brothers. That’s the only thing I wish they can change. We want to go again but we will have to wait a year since my little one isn’t 6 😞.

We took our family of 6 here for my our sons 13th birthday and we all had a blast!!!!! If you’re looking for a great time this is the place. The aqua park was definitely worth it. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. We can’t wait to come back.

We took our boys for a 2 hour stretch to play on the water obstacle course. It was reasonably priced and our kids had a blast. The life jackets were in good repair and there was ample seating for those watching. This is a definite must do when in Orlando!

We only knew of the place because a Festival of Lights event was being held there. Either do the event in Fall or early Spring bc when it's a feels like 103° and there's no shade it got unpleasant. The food trucks that were there did take care of the masses but I think some were out dated (cash only). There wasn't any real beverage carts and the registration tents were at the opposite end of the complex. Not a well put event but when the night came the DJ played the right ambience of music and everyone had lifted spirits.

The Lantern Festival was a great event! My daughter and I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. The event was well organized, the food trucks brought very nice food, good price, and clean environment. The evening was great when we put our lanterns to flow on the water. 🏮 What amazing event, and I truly recommend this event to everyone!👍🎊

Great place for a hot day. Lockers were unavailable. I’d recommend bringing a spare key to your car that only opens the doors and leaving your belongings hidden. Had our towels stolen that had our car key wrapped in them.

Went here with our 7 kids and it was all of our first times in the water wakeboarding. Guys were great and very patient with us teaching us how to do it. Was awesome to see them teach our 5, 7, and 9 year old how to do it. Great place! Great people! Great time! Nice job fellas!

I’ve done it all at OWC. Boat, cable, and aqua park. Enjoy it all. Very laid back facility, but well kept and well run. Safety is always top priority.

We were in the area for vacation and stopped at this place. We all had fun and everyone working was very helpful especially with giving the kids pointers to get up on the wake boards. Also, the food was amazing! We had flat bread pizzas and smoothies👍 We would definitely come back in the future and would recommend anyone even if it's your first time to try them out!
